1. The Netherlands is a relatively newly regulated market. What were the main considerations for Swintt in obtaining certification to enter the Dutch market?
When the Netherlands regulated its online market, we saw it as a fantastic opportunity to tap into a promising and growing region. We believed strongly that our portfolio, especially our SwinttPremium titles with their classic, land-based feel would resonate well with Dutch players. The market has a strong appreciation for traditional slots, and we knew we had the right content to meet that demand.
2. What sets Swintt apart from other slot providers active in the Netherlands?
What really sets us apart is our ability to cater to a wide range of player preferences. With SwinttPremium, we deliver classic slots that echo the land-based experience many Dutch players love. At the same time, our SwinttGames and Elysium Studios titles offer more modern, feature-rich content. This mix allows us to appeal to both traditional slot fans and players looking for cutting-edge innovation.
3. Do you notice any differences in the popularity of certain games, themes, or features between the Dutch market and other markets?
Absolutely. A significant segment of Dutch players tend to gravitate towards classic themes, fruit slots, common features, that kind of thing. In contrast, in markets like Sweden and the UK there is less taste for the classic style games in comparison. But there will always be content which resonates across many countries and it’s important we cater for that type of audience also.
4. Which Swintt games are currently the most popular among Dutch players?
We’ve seen some strong favourites emerge in the Dutch market. Seven Seven Pots and Pearls and Seven Seven from our SwinttPremium range continue to perform exceptionally well, which isn’t surprising given how much Dutch players enjoy that classic slot feel. What’s also exciting is the growing interest in more modern titles, Pirate Pledge Hold & Win from Elysium Studios is gaining real traction, the classic Hold & Win mechanic in that game is proving to be a hit.
5. Are there specific trends or developments in the Dutch market that you take into account when developing new slots?
We pay close attention to what players are enjoying and look for patterns. In the Netherlands, we’ve seen a consistent preference for more traditional slots, but there’s also growing interest in modern mechanics and features.
6. What is your personal favourite Swintt game that you would recommend to Dutch players?
It’s hard to pick just one, but I’d have to go with Seven Seven Pots and Pearls. It’s been a standout hit in the Netherlands for good reason. It’s got that familiar fruit machine, but the Pearl feature and local jackpots give it a modern twist that really elevates the experience.
7. Can you give us a sneak peek of upcoming releases that Dutch players can look forward to?
We have some exciting new titles on the horizon, from our SwinttPremium range, Money Tree transports players to a sacred realm guarding hidden treasures, also includes an exciting Coin feature that adds an extra layer of anticipation. We’re also excited about Crystalium, which introduces a very innovative mechanic involving changing reels. It’s a fresh take on slot gameplay that we think will appeal to players looking for something unique and engaging.
8. What innovations or developments do you expect to see in the wider iGaming market in the future?
I think the shift toward mobile-first design is only going to accelerate. Players are spending more time on their phones, so creating games that are optimised for vertical play and seamless touchscreen interaction is essential.
And of course, AI will play a huge role in shaping the future of development. From personalised game suggestions and real-time content adaptation to smarter backend tools for developers, AI is going to help us create more engaging, relevant, and efficient gaming experiences.
9. Finally, what are Swintt’s main goals and ambitions for the coming years, both in the Netherlands and internationally?
In the Netherlands, our goal is to continue building strong partnerships and delivering content that resonates with local players. Internationally, we’re focused on expanding into new regulated markets like Italy and Switzerland, which represent exciting opportunities for growth. We’re also investing heavily in innovation, with more cutting-edge titles coming from Elysium Studios, Crystalium is a great example, with its unique changing reel mechanic and high production value that really sets it apart from anything else on the market.
